The longest tram you can take in the world. The top of Sandia Peak is 10,378 feet high (3163m). The total length of the single cable that takes you to the top is 2.7 miles long. At one point in the ride, you are over 3/4 of a mile (over 1km) from the nearest tower and higher than the Empire State Building hanging in the air.
