TITLE: "A Thousand Feet High"

The tallest tower on the Millau Viaduct reaches 345m (1131 ft) and easily surpasses the Eiffel Tower as the tallest structure in France. The road deck is almost 900 ft above ground at this point, making it the highest active road bridge in the world.
